Children do not need to know music theory or play any instrument, but they will still enjoy the concert to the fullest, learn new songs, try to play interesting instruments and dance. The concert is conducted in English with Czech translation.
“The child is able to speak fluently in the language of music without having to think about grammatical rules,” says Oran Etkin himself about the project. Timbalooloo is the key to the language of music. For the eleventh year, Mladí ladí dětem has been organizing interactive educational concerts for children and their parents using the Timbalooloo music method, the brainchild of Grammy Award-winning Israeli-American jazz musician Oran Etkin. The programme is designed for children aged 3 to 10 years and is traditionally part of the Mladí ladí dětem educational programme as part of the international Mladí ladí jazz.
