After the big Mladí ladí FEST we return to Jazz Dock with another club ride together with Funk Fragment (DE) and NaOddBeat.
Funk Fragment (DE)
Funk Fragment is a foursome with a lot of funk grooves in their pockets! The band was formed in 2016 and played many concerts abroad, clubs and festivals all over Germany. One of their first successes was winning the title of the best new band in Germany at the School Jam festival in 2018. After the release of their first album Green Galaxy and a long break caused by the pandemic, they are back and on November 29th they will be performing at Prague’s Jazz Dock.
NaOddBeat
The band NaOddBeat was formed only last year at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. NaOddBeat is five enthusiastic musicians who are characterized by a high level of creativity and the ability to connect different musical genres such as jazz, fusion, alternative jazz and others. The band’s first single is called Jungle Joyride, and you’ll find out how the others sound in this month’s Jazz Dock!

The event is being held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Prague 5 Municipal District and the Czech-German Future Fund, the project is being implemented with the financial participation of the EU through the National Renewal Plan and the Ministry of Culture. The event is also supported as part of the MHMP subsidy for the year-round activities of the organization Nerudný fest, which organizes the festivals Mladí ladí jazz, Prague lives with music, Concert for the Future and Student Fest, in the amount of 3,500,000 CZK.
