Darkness Positive (SK)
Darkness Positive is a quartet from Slovakia. In their music you can find pop, rap, funk, art-rock, jazz and various other influences presented with admirable musical feeling and insight. They describe themselves as playing “music from the first”, which is a reflection of what is going on in their heads. Their relaxed attitude influences not only their music but also their lyrics! Lyrically, the band refers to various situations in life, in the funniest way possible.
Batáty
As the name suggests, this Budějovice band is definitely not serious. Funk-rock grooves, funny lyrics and brass section.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Municipality of Prague 5, the project is implemented with the financial participation of the EU through the National Regeneration Plan and the Ministry of Culture. In addition, the event is supported by a subsidy from the City of Prague for the year-round activities of the Nerudný fest organisation, which organises the festivals Mladí ladí jazz, Praha žije hudbou, Koncert pro budoucnost and Student fest, in the amount of CZK 3,500,000.
